Astro Jackson formed in the summer of 2015 by a group of touring and session musicians with the goal of creating a band with a unique sound that wasn't defined by any one genre. Playing a mix of pop, rock, country, funk, and Americana, AJ appeals to a wide audience, and their talent and energy is obvious from the first to last song.

Collectively, the members of AJ have opened for a variety of national acts, including Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kelsea Ballerini, Toby Keith, Don Felder, Brantley Gilbert, Sammy Hagar, The Ataris, the Band Perry, Trace Adkins, Ashley McBryde, Gregg Allman, Eli Young Band, Frankie Ballard, and Parker McCollum. So you know you’re getting a group of pros. They’ve played a lot of packed concerts, but have really nailed down the art of bringing a big show to a smaller stage or event and bringing the same kind of energy.
